lets not compare crew cab trucks to your little dinky RCSB GM trucks boys. apples to apples.

 

I got buddy with a Tundra and he runs 16.2s stock. I think with the superchrager they run low, low 15s.

I suppose it would be considered "fair" to go crew cab vs. crew cab but yesterday was all about "run what you brung" and I got no beef about it. Nissan doesn't have a regular cab to compare to everyone else but it's no big deal, to me. I've dragraced a lot of vehicles, including bikes, and in all those 18 years I've learned that there is no such thing as "better", just some brand loyalty (I have none) and how much $$ you throw at it. I'm sure I could take the engine out of mine, throw $30k into custom parts and then add like 400hp of nitrous on it just to run some good numbers but it's not that big of a deal to have the fastest thing out there to me. If that was the case I'd a bought a Lightning for a baseline truck and started bolting crap onto it.

 

Might as well buy an El Camino!!!

 

as these boys here and they will tell ya you are dead wrong. Lightnings are slow. 5.3L GMs are fast.

Nah just extended (king) cabs and the full crew cabs like I have. It needs more gear. I think the regular gear is like a 2.90-something and the tow package is only 3.36:1 (I have that). Considering there was no traction issues on mine and it only got 2.2 60' times it could use a lot of help there.
