My comp has been down for a few weeks, so I am going through LS1TECH withdrawals here, but 2 days ago my tranny started acting up. It missed 1st at a light and chirped the tires when I finally got moving. After parking it for a little (luckily I was a block away from home) I tried it again and it felt really funny in 1st and had a bad chattering in 1st. I called Joe at JAG performance and he said it sounded like it was going out, so I will be taking it to the tranny shop today to find out something. Damn, going on my 3rd week of checking here once a week from someone else's comp and now I don't even have my truck! The good news is I am still in a Silverado, I got my dad's 2000 while mine is down. Anyways I am gonna go take my truck to the shop. Hopefully I can check back on here before I get it done so I can decide what I want to do. I think I am just going to get it rebuilt and put a shift kit in. Any ideas on how I should get it rebuilt if I have to?
