Default a couple questions

I am considering getting an SS front bumper for my truck, but I want to keep my factory fog lamps. I am wondering if anyone has made this work and how?

Is $300 for a 6.0 out of an 01 Silverado that needs to be rebuilt/machined a good deal? (longblock)

You can... They will just sit behind the holes... Might have to modify mounting a bit...

you can try the idea that mater gave me for when i was thinking

since the SSS bumper and TBSS bumper are similar as in the lower part. why not get a set of TBSS fog lights and grill and try to make them work on the SSS bumper. i would of done this but i decided not to go SSS bumper

After I removed some material from the ducts they fit just fine. I took off enough to leave about 3/4 in all around (didn't know if the urethane was going to get too hot). It's been 3 mos and no problems. Bumper cover is a street scene SS btw
