I have this issue.....luckily i use my garmin and it displays mph.......but let me tell you how this benifits you....whenever you shut ur truck off one day and the needle gets stuck something high like 60 or 70 go for a spin with the camera. Pretty cool how fast u can get from 60 to 120! I taped this and sent it to my budy and told him i was doing a 60 punch when i was really starting from a stop.....lol boy was he impressed! i had a good laugh! there is a recall on the clusters but you have to have less then 70k miles....that's what they told me.

Why do that when he can get a new one for free?

7 year 70,000 mile warranty on the clusters on the 03-05.

my mom called the dealership, and they told her the recall was for 03-04 only.then he tried to strike a deal with her, saying they would cover the part... if she just paid the labor, $195.figures she wouldnt get an honest person. anyone know where i can find documentation that the recall inculdes 05 models?

If worst comes to worst just buy an escalade cluster. You can get them for under $200 on ebay, it takes 5 minutes to swap and has a temperature gauge. They look way better too.
