Talking CCSB DMax/Alli goes: 11.95@111.46 !

Here's the link and some clips. Not bad considering it has stock turbo and injectors. This truck is gettin awfully close to that 11.4X F-350 w/ a Cummins that was twin turbo and ~95psi...

That guy has been working on that truck since he bought it. Think what injectors and more boost could do!

Damn thats fast on stock turbo and stock injectors. I wish I could get on that site and ask them mor about it, but it says you have to pay a monthly fee. My dad is getting a 2004 D-Max and I need info on how to get it running high 12's...anyone else know? BTW, the allison tranny seems bullitprof

Yes I know how....

CAN-bus programmer (Edge Juice)
4" Exhaust
High flow intake
That will smoke the stock converter

Converter upgrade, TransGo, and C2 clutches

Quad Stealth box
Propane and/or Nitrous

Build the trans

Larger injectors
Mod stock turbo/upgrade

A fully prepped Alli is ~$4800! www.suncoastconverters.com

Lots of timing seems to be bad for these motors from what I have read. Diesels are open manifolds (no TB) basically work off total airflow vs fuel input. I think ported heads would yield massive gains when ported for total flow too.

13s are ease with an edge hot juice with attitude. www.edgeproducts.com - but the tranny is the key.

I've been a member of thedieselpage.com for a while now. Learned lots of good stuff on there. It was well worth the fee for the stuff I learned about diesel engines on that site. I've been doing lots of research on power boxes for my truck. Stay at or below 125 hp chips with stock allison is what I hear.

How the hell do turbo engines run so much boost?

The most I usually hear out of a S/C is single digits.

The diesel is a totally different motor. Open manifold (no throttle body). Power is based off total air flow and fuel input. The compression is very high to start with... at least 18:1. The fuel is compressed so much it ignites...hence no spark plugs. It runs soley off compression.
