Default Catch Can Questions and Suggestions

I've had several vehicles with Catch cans in the past but this will be the first time with my Chevy Truck (2003 4.8). Wanted to get opinions and suggestions on a proven quality one for our trucks

1. Do i need to have two for each side (Clean/Dirty) or will one on the Dirty side suffice?
2. Best brand and Design for a 4.8/5.3
3. Certain setups better then others

Thanks

Crap ton of threads out there on this topic.

Lots like mighty mouse catch cans or Rx catch cans as well as many others.

You only need one.

I prefer a simple can. Speed Engineering makes a quality, inexpensive can. I added a 3/8" dual male barbed aluminum fuel rated check valve in line with the fresh air inlet which serves the same purpose as a secondary can (to stop any reverse flow into the throttle body upon decel).
