Sorry guys, I can't find the instructions, but there is a way to permanently kill it. You can remove the BCM and take it apart. You will see the speaker for the chime, it's about the size of a silver dollar. It is soldered onto the circuit board. Take a screwdriver or knife and wedge it under the speaker and break it off. No more chimes forever.

It's a black plastic box with 3 connectors directly under the steering column. You have to pull the dash bezel and then the knee bolster. Disconnect the cables and it just slides right out. The cover just snaps on too.

I keep thinking about just stuffing the piezo with rtv. I don't know about wedging something under it, you might damage some traces in the process. I'd think grabbing it with some pliers and giving it a twist might be safer.

I just don't know if I wanna outright kill it - sure as I did I'd come out and find a dead battery because I left the lights on...
