ive installed everything and hopefully wired it up right, seems to hold right about 195 and i like that, i have a question to anyone tho, is the light on 100% of the time even when the car is off? and second i tapped the wrong ac wire and the fan was acting weird then i tapped the other wire and the fan started working right it seems but wont turn on automagically when the ac is turned on, does that mean i had the right wire the first time or it just isnt up to temp yet when i turned on the ac and the fan didnt need to run yet? anyone?

If you have the aftermarket style harness, the fan should come on when the AC compressor clutch engages.

Did you tune your truck to run the fans according to engine coolant temp?

I think 03s might be ready to go, but the earlier trucks require swapping a PCM pin's assignment within the tune.

It's a flex a lite 282 kit so you tap the positive wire on the ac clutch to the fan controller and the fans therm is adjustable.

Having a repair manual is a great reference tool. Lots of great pictures and electrical schematics that come in handy.

Ease up on the reply there.

Anyone run 34" fans and radiators from ebay or Orielly auto? Basically parts made to fit our trucks, but not form GM.
