Default cabin filter?

i have a 2000 gmc rcswb, my ac stinks when its on so ima change my cabin filter to see if it helps, i know the general location but i dont know what it looks like. there is a big circle and a small circle idk what one it is???

It's on the passenger side side of the truck inside of the cab, look under the dash and look up there should be a screw or bolt holding the cover on. I had mine done at the dealership like 3 years ago and it was about 65 bucks to have it done. I think that there is two filters and they are shaped rectangular.

yeah i need to change mine. Its getting an odor when the AC is on. Can't have that bullshit

by the way, take some lysol and spray it into the heater coils when you change the filters. made a hell of a difference for me. (after you do this, avoid sitting in the vehicle with the ac on for a few minutes)

yea i changed mine after I bought the truck and it looked like they had been drug through a pile of dirty leaves for 50,000 miles. Good idea to change it for sure.

not a bad idea, i used lysol because it kills germs, which i didn't think fabreze did...
