Default Blinker semi flashers

When I turn my left blinker on it will be flashers for about two blinks and then be a blinker. Suspect something up with the column. See this before?

The flasher for the emergency flasher and turn signals are usually different (ie 2 seperate flashers). You could try replacing those (since they're cheap) but they're doubtfully the issue here. You might need to pop the cover off the column and see if you've got any shorted wires or lose connections.

Thanks. I'll have a look at that stuff.
I check the blinkers every other fill up so I'll be checking them again soon.

glad I'm not the only one. Usually if it doesn't stop I just turn it off and on again and it works like it should. Will look into the Flasher switch since it is right there on the column as well.
How hard is it to get that cover off?

I have seen really odd stuff happen when the ground wires for those lights become loose or detatched. Might want to check those.
