Is there any options for bigger brakes, without the high cost?

you could probably get some bigger rotors for not as much but calipers are what gets expensive, and they are what makes the biggest improvement.

if you are going for looks only get some bigger cross drilled and slotted rotors and paint your calipers

What about using the 3/4 - 1 ton calipers?

the hubs are different they are 4 bolt not 3 bolt

the spindles are different too

eradispeed by baer makes a bolt on kit comes in front and rear kits..... has relocation brackets for the calipers and slotted and drilled rotors in the kit...

Yeah, that's what I have and I love 'em! You can find them on eBay occasionally for around $450-$500/pair for the EradiSpeed Plus-1 14" rotors w/caliper relocation brackets. I know a local place here in AZ who sells them for $cheap$ (PM me for price & contact info if you're interested)
