Turn engine off-knock-rattle noise!

Default Turn engine off-knock-rattle noise!

Why is it whenever I turn my truck off for like 3 seconds it rattles like the trannys loose or something lol...does anyone elses 5spd do this? its never happeend to any of my auto trucks?

When you shut it off, do you have your foot on the clutch or is the truck in neutral? Depending on how you do it, try it the other way and see if the noise is still there...maybe there's an issue with the clutch assembly? (broken/loose pressure plate spring or throwout bearing to pressure plate clearance?)

Mine does it too if you leave it in nuetral (ie reaching through the window while idling to shut it off). Push the clutch in and have it in gear while shutting it off, then let the clutch out. It's fine

Ohh okay, yes i do this when its in neutral, havent tried pushin in the clutch and turning it off..ill try it later!
