Default Big decision time...

Ok here's the deal.

I am kind of sick of the T/A. It's nice and all but I really like my big truck and once it's finished with all the new upgrades I wont be driving it much. Soooo I am thinking of selling the T/A and picking up my Ex's 03' GMC SCSB.

I would put all the big mods from the 4x4 onto the 2wd and return the big truck to stockish for daily driving. I figure that could drop about 1000lbs of raceweight!

I then would have a very clean truck for showing and for racing as mid 10s or better would be totally doable.

What do you guys think?

As long as it isn't with a 5.3 and you don't hit the 11's with a 5.3 I think it's kewl.

Loking aside .. I had my RADIX in a z71 similar to yours, and was tired of it. I figured I would NEVER keep a tranny in it either, thus the new truck. Now that one's getting to the point it isn't very streetable, with gas mileage and power level. Now ... I'm moving onto a new project.

I would do it. That truck is NICE and if you are building it more as a weekend/ other car I would go all out with it hence the regular cab. Is the Ex's a 4wd? If not I could see some BIG traction probs with that much power in a 2wd RCSB.

I'm not too worried about off the line street racing since I really don't do it much anymore. PLus I have experiance racing high HP street cars in 2wd.

I'd be doing the 370ci motor with stage 3 race heads, etc etc to make over 600rwhp
