....that's an easy decision. Good luck with the traction and 600+ rwhp on that truck though. I'm having trouble just shy of 400.... but Damn, It's ALOT of Fun!!!!
thinking of one of Rick's custom 370's I see.... i'd rather see a 408 though, the torque numbers are easier to accomplish.
BTW justin... what's going on with that snorkel??

LMAO!
You guys are killin me!
Even if I can't buy the EX's truck I can easily get another. I just like that one because it already looks nice but it's easy to get wheels and lower a stock truck.
I just think that it will save me a lot of hastle trying to break into the 10s by shedding 1000lbs right off the bat.
Traction will be my #1 issue once everything is in and tuned but I've figured it out before and I'll figure it out again. Just knowing how much faster I'll be in a RCSB makes me all tingly inside. I'll never get the races in my area like Parish does his so 4wd isn't a must at this point. I just want something that can smoke the tires at 80mph and be a drag strip monster with a few simple race day tricks. Hahahaha
My main point is turning the big truck back to stockish form so i can actually drive it around all the time. If i keep the T/A I'll be stuck with driving it most of the time and I don't get to enjoy that truck feel.
Chris, yeah. Rick and I have been planning the 370ci motor since long before the first 5.3L blew up. We knew the stock motor wouldn't last long so he has been figuring out what approach to take. A long rod 370ci will work very well. I don't really think I would need the 408ci. If you look at all the fastest Mustangs and LS1 that are turbo you will see they are all pretty small motors compared to what they could be stroked to. Some are not even stroked, Harlan for instance.
Thanks for all the input guys. I am really getting jazzed thinking about it. I bet I could push the thing to be the fastest on the West Coast for an NBS truck with NBS parts (meaning not a tube chassis, big block equipt monster). Or I'll just go back to dreaming I can be. LOL

. That thing would fly. Besides then you would have a tow rig to get that beast around when something goes
Besides, RCSB's are so much more fun to drive.
