So last week i ordered my headers/ory from Teas Speed. I also placed an order for a 160* thermostat. Well two days ago they came in and the headers looked great but no sign of the thermostat, anywhere. So i called thim and was told that they couldn't ship out the thermostat because they were on back order. So i was told it would be shipped as soon as it came in. So i put the headers on and head to the exhaust shop today to get my new corsa welded on and as were checking for leaks afterwords i hear this strange rattle right in front of my cutout.....so i take the cap off and look inside....and what the hell do you think i see????? THERMOSTAT!!!!! melted and broken in about four pieces. The box or whatever it came in had apparently been shoved into the middle of the ypipe i guess...i never noticed it in there during the header install. Anyways the box was is obviously dissentagrated. When i called Texas Speed they told them asking for a new one they said they couldnt send me one cause i already received one. Well they told me after i couldnt find it that they didn't ship it....so i stopped looking. Anyways, guess i gotta get another one ordered.

kinda thought the same thing.....they told me it wasnt in the box. Might just have to buy from someone else next time.

 

Did you check the shipping ticket to see if was shipped. If it was left off the ticket then I think Texas Speed should send you a free one.

 

Sounds like the shipping guy had a liquid lunch.
