If you have the correct size belt on there, I'll bet that your squeak is coming from one of the tensioners, I've had to replace both of mine. My upper one used to squeak when it was cold, and my lower one sounded like a jack hammer when I used my a/c.

Also might check the water pump to see if its dripping coolant on the belt.

I bet its just one of the tensioners happens alote bearings loose oil so they start to squeak just spray some wd40 in one of them it will work for awhile but you will find out which one it is and not have to buy both of them

i mean idk about armor-all wouldn't that cause dry-rot? like if you use armor-all on a dash & then never use it on the dash again it'll dry-rot the dash pretty good....

hopefully it's just the actual tensioner pully and not any of the other ones...cause if i have to change a water pump on another one of these LS motors i'll flip...but at least then it would be a reason to put e-fans in...

never had that problem.. lol.. worth a try to get rid of the noise tho.. i still have my original belt.. 75,000 miles. it tried to sqweak one day sprayed it and it hasnt come back at all... worth a try. imo. its better than replacing some tensioners and the noise still be there..lol.

Don't spray anything on the belt, ever.

Did you change the A/C belt?
