Default Beat a Honda S2000!!!!!!!! (long)

I had went to a friend's house the other night to let him ride with me in my truck to see what he thought about the 3.90s/Eaton. After a couple of minutes, we were at a red light with a silver Honda S2000. The guy was real cocky looking. When it turned green, I nailed it and he didn't do anything. The next redlight, he pulled back up beside us and I had figured he was gonna do something, cause he kept looking at us. My friend was making fun of "The Fast & Furious", he looked at him & then turned to me and said,"Smoke Em"! We'll people were turning across the lanes coming from the opposite direction. When the light turned green, there was a car still turning and was still goinng across his lane. The honda floors it and actually almost hits the car. I didn't punch it until the car went across, because I thought he would wait. We'll I punched it and he had jumped me a little over a car inbetween us. By the time I shifted into 2nd, his front bumper was right behind my passanger side door. He stayed there for a few seconds, then he shifted and pulled up to my front bumper. Then my second gear rpms hit about 4500 and I pulled on him until there was a few feet between his front bumper and my rear bumper. When my truck shifted into 3rd, I still kept him there, maybe pulling a few more inches before we let off. I let off and looked at the speedo and we were going 95 after a few seconds of letting off. We were on an empty two-lane one-way bridge late at night. It was awesome to actually beat a fast little two seat sports car!

I want to but ive been wavering on what I want to do. I was thinking of going with a big stall and keeping the 342 gears. I used to beat chingon with my 342s vs his 373s, but now with his stall etc its not even funny how much he beats me, untill about 80mph. So im thinking that if I keep the 342s and have maybe 3400-3600 stall I can pick up some low end and still have the 342s to kick *** up top.

Any ideas on that? (sorry not trying to hijack your thread)

Your not hijacking my thread, it's still realated to gears!

As far as gears, I say get the 3.90s. They launch hard, even with the stock stall. With a 2600-3000 stall, it would be awesome. That's if you had traction though. And after 80 or whenever you and him hit 3rd you should be able to still pull him. Just my .02
