AXLE FRONT equipped on 2WD?

I just looked up my friends truck via compnine.com using his vin number. there is a line as follows:

YD3 AXLE FRONT (BASE EQUIP) FOR SCHEDULING GVW PLATE FRT AXLE(YD3)

and i'm sort of confused as to what it is talking about as his truck is 2wd...

anyone care to inform me? thanks

Yeah I thought it was pretty wierd myself but it says that with a big ol' check mark next to it. it would be cool, yet pointless, to see 2wd with front axels though lol

Im trying to figure that rpo code out also on my 03 crew 2wd , some say selectable locker others say AXLE FRONT (BASE EQUIP) FOR SCHEDULING GVW PLATE FRT AXLE(YD3)
