Arp header bolt length

Default Arp header bolt length

i ordered some ARP STAINLESS 8mm . 1.25 are these too long ive read stories about guys bottoming out bolts

Default bought the wrong bolts length

does any one know the header bolt size and length for my truck ???

You need 25 UHL or under head length. I used part # 761-1002 on mine, this is a five pack so you will need three packs. I also bought some stainless lock washers at the local hardware store to keep them from backing out.

That part # is for arp, bought them at summit. As for the lockwashers I'm not sure on the brand, just walked in my local bolt supplier with the bolt in hand and told him what I needed he handed me a small box of lockwashers for free!

Default funny thing is....

funny thing is i bought the wrong length ARP bolts and had to use a couple of washers for the the one hole but im sending the other a packs back to JEGS do you know the length of those and and are you running headers?

Yeah the length is 25 UHL (under head length) and yes I have short tube JBA's

Measure the depth of the bolt hole in the head. Measure the thickness of your header flange. Add the two together and you will have your answer.
