Default Anyone With a 03 - 06 w/Auto Climate Control

I just changed my compressor and condenser and did a full flush and service on my A/C. I have put about 2.5 of the 3lbs of refrigerant in the system and only the rear ac is getting cold. The inlet to the front evaporator is sweating so i know its flowing.

I cannot recall if there is a snowflake on the control when the ac is on, can someone with the same controls let me know if they have a snowflake when the ac is on.

I don't know if i made a mistake by putting in one of those adjustable orfice tubes or if i am having a problem with my dampers.

I am going to do try the recalibrate but i am thinking i should have a snowflake showing when its on.

Thanks

Paul

Yes, the head unit should show a snowflake on the display when AC is on. No snowflake (or blinking snowflake) means there is an issue with the AC control system (either pressure or electrical).

Thank you for your reply, when i drove home last night the front ac started blowing cooler but i still didn't have a snowflake on my control.

I think i am going to try putting the balance of the refrigerant and see what happens. If it still doesn't seem right i guess i should switch out the VOV orfice tube for the stock static one.
