Talking Ah how funny PMs are at times!

One of our fellow Tech'ers (not me, I'd admit funny stuff like this) received this PM off another of the GM boards regarding a blown 4L60E due to the install of a blower. That person took the criticism too hard after it was expressed that the dealer would almost certainly NOT warranty the transmission due to the supercharger.

"Although I appreciate feedback to posts on this forum, I found your response to be counterproductive. I know the modifications to new vehicles is sometimes frowned upon by dealers.

I also was under the impression that this forum was created to foster good will and comaradry amongst like minded enthusiasts. Your post came across as being of a negative spirit and unnecessary. Obviously, your response was posted without regard to the intent of this forum. If I were you I would be ashamed of considering myself as a positive influence to this forum."

Oh so a supercharger is just a regular modification? LOL. And what, real info on you being denied coverage due to YOUR actions isn't helpful info? It'd have saved at least $100 on the towing bill!
