For you guys with cowl hoods and fiberglass hoods, did they come with the latch on the front of the hood....ie., the little loop thing that goes into the latch mechanism? Did you take your old one off and re-use it, and if so, did you have to drill the bolts out or ??? Can you buy this part from the dealer?
I have a hood that I'll be putting on soon but it doesn't have the loop thing in the front. It has the mounting bosses already threaded, just not sure how to get the other one off? Thanks

Mine didn't. The one off the stock hood had to be used. I tried finding someone with a damaged hood that I could get it from, but had no luck. I assume they just drilled it out, I let the bodyshop do it so I don't know.

My Reflexxion cowl hood came with the upper striker and had contoured supports fully welded instead of flat beams with small spot welds.
IMO my reflexxion hood is twice the quality of the Legendary Goodmark, who I think is a joke!
