Default 99-02 to 03-07(classic) Conversion on Sierra

Ok, so I have started some fab work on my front end to get an 06 bumper on my 99 sierra (gmt800) to fit...But I'm running into a few problems. First thing is that the fender lines aren't matching up with the bumper quite right... Second thing is my 22"s wrapped in 305/40/22 tires keeps barely catching the airdam. Do the 03-07(classic) trucks have less wheel clearance than the 99-02's? I have already shaved a little with my dremel in some inconspicuous spots but I don't wanna take anymore off. If I move the bumper forward anymore I don't thing it will look right, but I am still running the 99-02 grille so maybe the newer grille will fill some bumper gap if I move it forward. Anyone done this conversion before or have any helpful input??? Some close up pics of the fenders/bumper and front end on a 03-07(classic) truck would be appreciated also.

unless i missed something..im pretty sure he's talking about a sierra.
as far as messing with the bumber goes i had to weld and reweld the main bumper brackets that go onto the frame ends. had mine moved to the front about 1/2" and a good 2" up to close that gap. if you wanna play with how the bumper lines up its gonna have to be rewelded as it bolts on only one way with maybe a 1/4" of play

My fav's are the 03+ Sierra's and the 06-07 Classic Silvy's

Here are a few pics I found on Google BTW, they might help you to figure out how far to set the bumper out...

even tho i converted mine to 03-05 front end..i still think the 99-2002 with the right set up looks sexy, especially with a 2" cowl induction hood with billet grill..inserts..and h.i.d's that he said lol
