Default 6 liter swap?

im gonna be lookin to do a 6 liter swap in my 99' silverado 1500. it has a 4.8 now but after i get my lift and tires on this weekend i will want more power to pull it, but i might wait till i wear this motor out to do it unless i can sell it to help finance the 6.0L in which case what 6.0L would be best not only for power but to work with my computer in a new body style 99' silverado. im just thinkin of a 2500 maybe cause i wanna pull hills and tow my race car good while still being fast as hell while im not. Anyone have any answers??

Drop the 6L in it more tq down low cheaper than buying a 2500.
