I was really thinking of getting a new engine wanted to know how bad the difference was on gas for dd's when you guys sitched to 6.0 I'm just going to have boltons stall and 410s thanx in advanced

 

Count on about 2 to 3 mpg drop...

 

talk 2 AJ (Low_LQ4) he used to have a 5.3 and went to a 6.0 out of a 4L80, he still has 3.23 gears too.

 

depends on if you can keep your foot out of it or not

 

I was getting 16.5-17.5 with my bolt on and small stall"2600" 5.3l
Now with 6.0-cammed,3.73 gears vs old 3.42 and a 3200 stall i get 14.5mpg...period doesn't matter how i drive it.
Never done a highway tank on it so coudn't tell ya highway mileage.

 

i get 16 with mine..4.10s and 3200 stall.

 

Mine dropped from 15 to 14. When I get the f-ing wideband hooked up properly, I hope to gain that mile back.
