5.3 into '92 rcss almost done
#1
Guys, here is a progress pic of the swap I'm doing on my old truck. '05 5.3 and 4L65 into a '92 Sierra rcss. Mods are 228/232 .588 .595 110lsa, Patriot double gold springs, hardened push rods, Shaner ported TB, P.I. Vigalante 3200, and Detroit True Trac. Truck is being tuned by us using HP Tuners. Its just about done. All the factory gauges work. A/c is coming as soon as I have time to make a custom a/c bracket.

since we are an STS dealer, I had one of the elbows used in the kits. I was thinking there would be a little better air than up higher.
Its just a coupler to the TB, MAF, elbow, 3" pipe going down, and filter.

you will need a tach signal divider from bakerelectronix to make it work right.
I will look and see which pin number it is from the pcm. If the colors on the old harness are the same as mine, there is a white wire going into the firewall. That should be connected to the new pcm. ON the inside of the firewall, there is a box (I havent done this yet) that you splice into the white wire with the tach signal divider to make it read right.
