Default 4th time to dealer for the same problem!!!!!

Tomorrow I am taking my Yukon to the dealer for the 4th time. The AC system has serious issues or the people working on it have issues. The damn thing leaks. First time it was low and was recharged. Second time some high pressure valve was replaced and dye was added. Third time, an AC hose was replaced and a valve and recharged with dye. Now it has all leaked out from above the tail pipe for the rear AC. Every time it leaks from a different place, but its never worked for more than a week at a time since I've owned it. Can I make them replace the compressor and whole system? I know HVAC and the only common denominator is the compressor must be building too much pressure.

I have thought about lemon law but I really like my Yukon and I bought it in Maine and live in TX now so that makes it even harder.

WHAT TO DO??????????????????????????

I just want to repeat, lemon law is a last resort that I dont want to just jump to. I'd rather have it fixed right.

BTW, I have just over 34k miles and work in the oil field so I drive ALOT. I need this fixed right under warranty, next month I will be over 36k for sure.

my 99 had a leak and we used the UV dye and we ( my dad and i ) never could find the leak and when i hit a small deer at slow speed it busted my grille and A/C condensor and when we took it out it had UV dye all in the bottom of it, and my system would completely leak down in 3-4 days

so you might check there

mine had about 40k i guess when it leaked down and my dad never fixed it until i got it and then we couldnt keep gas in it

I know where its leaking at though. Every time its a different fitting. The condencer is fine, with it always being the fittings and valves I figure it must be over pressure.

every state has different lemon law requirements.

Yes they put oil in it everytime, it leaves puddles of neon oil everywhere I stop. lol

wonder if they are pulling a vacuum usually a vacuum is pulled if a system is totally leaked down, it not only gets all the air out and keeps it from vapor locking or air locking, but it also helps to detect leaks before freon is added

I have a friend that turned in a Van with the lemon law, he did have an Attorney, but they payed him for every oil change and maintance he did including all interest he paid during the time he had the Van. Plus a new Van, He made out very well. I guess sometimes all it takes in an attorney.
Hope all works out for you.
