Default 4L80/ driveshaft ??

I'm swapping to an 80e and was wondering do I need to swap my driveshaft for an aftermarket one or should I just cut mine down. I have a '00 Chevy rcsb with a 6.0 swap. The reared will be getting tru trac and 4.10's.

http://www.driveshaftspecialist.com/...uckmaster.html has the ds-1 for $245- $315. Thanks for the help.

IIRC we took off an inch off the driveshaft on my crewcab when doing the 80e swap.

I had mine cut down, but I already had a 6" driveshaft specialist Dshaft. Are you 2wd?

This is what is in my truck. Not sure on a part # or vendor. The part that slides into the transmission is just over 5" long.

What size u joints are on your driveshaft?

I believe all TH400 tailshafts are made for 1350.
