Post 34"radiator questions

i did a search and didnt come up with much. will i need new hoses? will the transmission lines reach without being in a bind?can i use the old fan shroud?is there anything i need to look out for, or will it drop right in?also, have any of you had any problems with placing orders from radiator barn... about how long did it take the radiator to get to your house? sorry for the 20 questions, i hope to get at least a couple answered. any responses will be appreciated.

It will bolt right in. EVERYTHING fits. I got mine from Radiator Barn, no worries. Took about a week to ship.

Do they have one with out the trans cooler in a 34"?

I could only find one with an oil cooler. I just want a 34" with coolant or would it be best to just get one with the trans stuff and plug the holes like i have now?

Just get your radiator flow checked before you put them in, and get a system flush after it is in. You don't need to plug the trans holes, just leave them empty. Unless the rad leaks you will not have anything come out of the holes. don't worry.

I got my 34" rad from eBay and has the Oil cooler the trans cooler, and a drain tube. The drain doesn't come stock on the trucks, so its cool to have. can't beat it for $230 and here in 3 days. A++

thanks for your responses. ky,... did that come fedex , ups, or what? radiator barn has theirs for $253, plus shipping i suspect. $230 was a good deal. 1true,... i saw on radiator barn that they have the 34"radiators for standard transmissions without an engine oil cooler for $252... not much of a savings but they have them. its taken me so long to respond, that you may have figured this out on your own by now. 04black, why would you need to have a brand new radiator flow checked?ive ran so much coolant through this thing that the system is bound to be flushed by now... though i have some nice scale in my overflow. ill probably remove the tank and clean it out, i did this once before... but i didnt use any kind of chemical to break that **** down.. just soap and water. are the hoses for the 6.0 longer? at 135k i may as well replace the hoses while im at it, and if im going to do that.. i may as well get the ones that fit properly. anyway, ill stop rambling now.. thanks again

The hoses will fit 100% fine, but while your at it I would go with the 6.0 hoses. I don't think it matters tho.
The flow check is on used radiators, and flush is on a used or even a while your at it kind of thing.

The radiator was $209 and $20 shipping,

Total:US $229.00 !!!!!!! Oil cooler, trans cooler, and drain tube.

And this thing got to my door within 3 days, thats super fast

HERE IS ONE <--3 days left, great deal, has them all the time!!!

You can see the drain tube below, I have not seen this on the stock radiators on the trucks since the 02's i believe? Great little thing to have.
