i know i have an ex cab im runnign a 2-3.5 drop with 22 x 10s and a 31 inch tire, i have no issues in the back it does run a little in the front but nothign bad at all. it does depend on tire and offset/backspacing. i know a 305/40/22 will be a good tire to go with.

You shouldn't have any rubbing issues as long as you have at least a +30 offset. That i my problem right now, I only have a +18 so I can't drop.

I got an 03 Sierra with Panther 22x9.5 wrapped in KUHMO 305/45R22. I have only a 2 inch drop on the rear. The tires just barely scrub the plastic inner fender wells when turning all the way. But 2 or 3 times now i have hit dips in the road and the tires will catch the lip on the fender and pull it down and in the mean time it'll cut the outside of the tire. I would recommend going with an 8.5 inch rim. I got a friend with a 4/6 and on a 00 Sierra with 22x8.5 with a low profile tire, so either go will a smaller tire or an 8.5 rim.
