That vette has got to be spraying or stroked to pull like that. That thing is sick and there are ALOT of fast C5's near me.
Nice Car though

It doesnt do any good to run a motor to the limiter THEN shift does it? I always ran the Z06 about 150....give or take...rpm's from the rev limiter and shifted while running at the track. Seems like banging the limiter then shifting would make you lose a tad bit of speed and momentium...maybe I was just babying my Z06. I managed a 12.4@116 on a 2.2 60ft on stock tires so I was happy with that. The car was bone stock. HitMan, what made you get rid of your vette?

Yeah I definitely think that Vette had a little more than heads/cam action going on there.

I was a dumb punk when I got it. Got in over my head with payments on that plus the Z, WRX, and a house. I had what I wanted job wise and buying stuff I should have waited for.

Now I'm back to square one again with a smaller pad in town, the Z and WRX still. I didn't overextend myself at the time but the longer I stayed at the company I was at the less and less I got paid. So it slowly put a burden on me.

Ah well, live and learn. There's 1000s of them around and more when the C6 comes out. If I'm in good financial standing in a year or so like I am for the most part now, perhaps I will end up in another one.

Yea I hear ya....I traded mine for the Denali I'm in now. I want another one though, like you said the C5 will be readily available...GM has made so many of them.

Yup, vehicles come and they go. I didn't purchase the 'Vette to make up for anything, it's an excellent ride. I got into that from a '98 Z28. I will have another one in the not to distant future.

If your chick digs money...that's not always the best thing...

The chicks that dig money, and money alone......are the worst ones to have in my opinion. I've never had one like that, so I cant personally say.
