Default Smoked a Mustang Cobra in my truck...

I see a '97ish Mustang Cobra in my rearview mirror with the two holed hood and round fog lights. I make a right and he follows, I see his back end come around a bit. I'm in the middle lane and he's in the left lane and I let him motor by. I see the Cobra badges, but all I hear is V6 as he goes by. I laugh to myself. We line up at the next light and I get a good look at his car. He has the Cobra hood, Cobra fog lights, Cobra badges, newer Mustang GT wheels/tires, dual exhaust, but a plain "Mustang" rear bumper.

Light goes green and I get on the gas and I hear him get on the gas. I start slowly pulling away as I run WOT through 1st and 2nd gear. I shut down with about a 2 car length lead and he eventually catches up and doesn't even look over at me. I'm having a good laugh at this point. My truck MAYBE run's low 15's, gotta love those V6 Cobras. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to talk/razz him about his bada** Cobra.

That's the way I feel about any badge that's not suposed to be on a car.

I didn't specify, Whoops! I mean the Cobras with the Rootes blown 4.6! Whew, that was bad!

Yeah alot of the Mustang guys around here were doing something similar a couple years ago. The dealers said, alot of the V6 guys were sticken GT badges on their Mustangs. All of the badges on the Mustangs at the lot were all gone.

Nice kill.
