00 silverado sas brake pedal spongy
#1
Recently finished a sas swap on my 2000 silverado. I Used a dana 60 front, sterling 10.25 rear, Using 85 k20 calipers front and rear.
New calipers, new hard lines, rubber lines. I removed the abs module, and ran the brake lines right to the master cylinder. Bench bled the master, and bled calipers. I get a solid stream of brake fluid, no air. I've done the two man brake bleeding, and get no air.
I've tried two masters, and two boosters, rechecked all fittinga. When I unhook the vacuum line from the booster the pedal is rock hard, but with the vacuum line hooked up it drops to the floor. I'm at a lost, what is going on with the brakes?

Just finished swapping to hydroboost. Cost a whole $120 for everything. $60 for hydroboost, master cylinder and brake pedal. $30 for pressure lines. $20-30 for misc fittings, hoses, clamps, fluids.
Best upgrade I've ever done, wish I did it sooner !
My only concern is, does it put more strain on the power steering pump? If so what's a good upgrade for a new pump ?
