Default Are all drop shackles the same?

I have a 2002 SBSC Silverado. I wanted to level it for right now to see how I like it. Was thinking of just doing the drop shackles. Are they all the same? Any better than the other?

Basically all the same.

Either pay money for a name brand or go to autozone and order a set. You likely could get them cheaper at a autozone with all those discount they offer.

Mine are from O'reiley's...they're similar to the Belltech I have. The construction of the belltech looks a little nicer to me and they have a rubber bushing like OEM shackle. The off brand shackle has a polyurethane bushing. They seem to be working just fine, and no noise.

So these generic shackles from Oreileys,do they fit all Chevy trucks? As in one size fits all? Or do I need specific years.

I've seen some sketchy polyurethane depending on application; it crumbles into tiny bits. Not condemning polyurethane in general, just questioning the quality depending on source. With that in mind I'd get shackles from a trusted brand like Belltech first, DJM second, and probably nobody else.

Shackles tend to be -somewhat- universal though their shape and width will vary based on application. You'll find certain part #'s do fit many different types of trucks. Best thing is to check the specific part # you're looking at as they will have a list of what it fits.

I've had the same autozone shackle on my 2008 crew cab for 80k miles. No issues. I've had the leaf springs dropped a few times since install
