LT1 fans came on the Camaro's Z28's with the 5.7L LT1. The LS1 fans came on Camaro's Z28's with the 5.7L LS1. They look different, both are dual fans. As far as cooling capabilities, I have no idea. The LT1 fans I'm selling cooled my Silverado 5.3L just fine, even in 107* weather and the A/C going.
