I need HPT to tune my new engine/blower combo as EFI Live does not support 2-bar for my OS. Anybody got an HPT to sell? Just needs the 2 credits I need to tune my truck.
Newer versions are better I guess

 

Ive was looking for a used HP tuners interface as well but ended up just ordering a new pro version. I dont need 8 credits right now but Im sure I will at some point. Free bump

 

FYI, you're gonna need 4 credits for that 2-bar SD tune. Just letting you know, so you don't get surprised.

Just buy a new package. $650 plus 4 more credits is $850. Unless you need all those credits, you don't need all that. Plus, I'd rather have a new cable than a used one that may have been dropped, etc. Who knows, it's used, right?

 

Ya I will probably go new. No need for all those credits. I won't use the 8 that come with it forever. I did find this on an HPT vendors site:

Hey man I saw where you posted about the HPTuners off of LS1tech. I may be interested in goin halfs on it with ya.

 

It's 2 credits to license your pcm, then 2 more credits to convert to the 2-bar SD OS. I've done a few of them.

 

Hmm, well thats fine with me but Wheatley is going to load the 2-bar OS into the PCM for me. So will I still need to use 4 of MY credits? No biggie, just wondering...

 

I'm not sure how that would work since I think you have to have the cable to do any logging and tune changes. I was just showing the one on tech as an example. I will probably buy a new suite and just be done. If we lived a lilttle closer together it might work.
