I put a 17x24 single fan on my truck from a volvo.. found it for 40 bucks shipped on ebay. I was weary about it at first.. but this fan is pushing A LOT of air. There is minor fabracation to get them to fit on our brackets and u have to drill the top holes in.. but its nothing like a custom fab and those fans are rated at 4000cfms.

heres the link to the one i bought.. see if this guy has anymore http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33600

Also, youd have to strip down the motor so that all your left with is the two wires (get rid of the computer chip volvo puts on there). I have it on a swtich right now, when I get the chance i'll be doing it on a heat sensor programmed for 175* on and 160* off. with a 180* truck thermostat

Nelson harness is about 100 shipped. If you are electrically savy, you can build your own. A member (flyer) on here can also make you one, he has a different approach than nelson.

I decided not to use them because I'm not sure I trust them with my set up. They were from a 2001 SS with 40,000 miles ( so I was told). They look like low mileage fans in VGC.
