everything will work stock except hardened rods (recommended) and springs (necessary). its still just a cam dont ask stupid questions.
JVTEX: sorry I had to bail on the deal the guy who was gonna buy my cam had college stuff that needed money rather than the truck. Sorry man, good luck with the sale

Don't worry about bailing on cam. If this doesn't sell, I'm sure down the road it will find it's way into something!

what is the power band on the cam.
I was betting that it would. Stock 5.3 heads flow good, not great, but the cam wouldn't hurt anything. Like 00Silv4.8 said. You're going to need new push rods and springs. the Lift is just to aggressive for stock. Even if the Lift wasn't as high, I'd still upgrade to Harden Pushrods and springs. Those two items seem to be the weak link in the LSX motors.

and the Powerband is around 3000-6500 I believe. Never put the cam in myself, but from what I read that's where it is. Perhaps it comes on a little earlier. Not sure. but I had bought a 3200 Yank to go with this cam. And Yes I tow an open trailer and tools along with my corvette. SO i was betting on this set-up to work.

If you ask some on here, they'll say yes but most will say no. I don't think you'll want to run a stock converter with this cam. Like i stated above, I picked up a 3200 Yank but i had plans for this cam! Again, the research I've done seems to be that a 2600-2800 is the smallest you'll want with this cam. But who knows, try it! With a killer tune you might have some ground braking info to share!

did u read my previous post? do some homework. Go on Thunderracing.com and compare some dyno charts. The dyno chart for the 220 is a silverado the 224 is an F-body. It all depends on ur set up, everyone is different.

I'm going to say no. Ultimately it should make less, not by much. However if you don't have supporting mods for either cam, then both will handle like crap.
But use the search button like 00Silv4.8 stated. Read up on some old posts. There is just a ton of info on these very popular cams. Give ThunderRacing a call and tell them what you plan to do and what you're looking for.
