I know this is a performance website, but I'm going to throw this up on here anyways...

I have for sale the stock posi differential out of my 2004 Silverado. The unit has about 68,000 miles on it. It worked perfect when I took it out. I replaced it with a Detroit True Trac. The posi still has the 8.625" bearings on it, but it will also fit 8.5" rear ends, you just need to take the bearings off and press the 8.5" ones on.

I'd like $100 + the cost of shipping. Will also consider offers.

What gear ratio was on here...was it 2 series or 3? You mentioned that it can be used on an 8.5 10 bolt so it should work on an 88-98?

 

Is it 28 or 30 spline?
