Default LH6 shortblock for sale....$600

Hey there. Was going to use this as a starting point to build up an engine, but have decided a tranny would be better at this point.

Located currently in Casper,WY, but I can deliver up and down the Colorado front range.

Just curious, how can you tell right off the bat between the two? Casting # or?

Feel kinda duped, he told me an L33, but I should have known better.

An L33 is a regular Gen 3 engine which has 2 knock sensors in the center of the valley cover and the cam sensor is in the back top of the block near the oil sensor.

Your engine has oil passages in the valley cover along with a cam sensor in the front timing chain which was done on the Gen 4 motors.

It doesn't change the value as aluminum blocks in general are hard to find.

You just need to know the difference to know if it's a direct bolt in or if it will require different parts

Totally....I believe this is the 58 tooth reluctor wheel. Just haven't seen a lot of these up close and personal.

Bump for anyone who would like to make an offer on any of the parts as well separately.
