kewl, but could you tell me what the part/serial number says on the sensor please? i need to know if it's the correct type. what year is this maf sensor from? also please send me pics of it if possible to ftcheou@gmail.com

Sorry OT but are they different from the 5.3 MAF ? If so i guess i'll need to find one local .

If you have a tune it doesn't matter. The MAF frequencies are stored in the PCM, not the MAF sensor itself. I would think the MAF would be the same between engines but might vary between some year models.
