FS: Dynojet Wideband Commander A/F System
#1
For sale is the DynoJet WideBand Commander (WBC) that I purchased but never installed.
The only thing I have done to the kit is removed the analog gauge and send it to AutoMeter to get the silver bezel replaced with a black bezel (costing me $25). I did this in order to have the gauge fit in with the rest of my stock gauges and the other Z-Series gauges I was going to install. While the gauge was at AutoMeter in Chicago, they tested the gauge to ensure it was operating properly befor returning it to me.
The WBC is the wideband of choice for many people who want to monitor their Air/Fuel ratio. Not only does it have an analog gauge, it also has a logging box that you can use to monitor and record A/F readings while you are driving, and you can download these readings later via the suppled USB cable. You can also use the output as input to logging software (such as EFI Live or HP Tuners) to get coincident A/F readings with all of your other logging data.
For more info on the unit and how integrates into logging software, visit the following link: DynoJet WideBand Commander. Be aware that this is the unit that one of the owners of HPTuners uses on his race car, so it is probably okay.
This unit retails for $529 from DynoJet, but if you look you can find it for $475 from some places and $450 from others. I will sell this unused unit complete for $425 shipped.

What else would I need to do my own tuning other than a pyrometer?
send me an email if you can work on price for a poor college student...

To do your own tuning all you really need besides a wideband is HPT or EFI Live or something like that with a scanner and editor. I think a pyrometer is only required for diesel tuning.
The price is a very good price...buck up laddie! Get yourself an early Christmas present!
