Default FLP Level IV trans **SOLD**

This is Parish8's old trans and is now setup for a 2wd. I bought this also since I was going to install the whipple but, since I'm not going to do that I won't be needing this trans either.

I'm selling it for what I paid which is a hell of a deal. The trans is at FLP still and is ready to ship. The buyer must work out shipping details and payment with FLP. It will come with a check valve that is needed for the vacuum line if you have a blown truck.

$1000 outright. You pay shipping from FLP. You keep your stock transmission to do whatever with.

Let me know either here or by email. First $$$ gets it.

email = xlr8nss@bellatlantic.net

Matt - You know the abuse that Parish8 put it threw. I don't know the specifics but, the hard part that busted in it has been replaced with something stronger. This is probably one of the toughest 4L60E's available. Evidently the clutches were in great condition just a hard part that couldn't take the stress let go. Now it's stronger than before.

In a lighter truck than parish's it should hold up to ALOT.

Line pressure is controlled by a vacuum modulator. The more load the harder it shifts. The check valve is only needed for a boosted application.

Shifts are still controlled electronically and can be changed with Edit, HPP3, etc.

Ok...now I get it, well I'm boosted so the check valve would be needed.

Just a Q .. what was it that gave in the tranny. I had one that was 'indestructable' and twisted a hardened input shaft inside the hardened drum and was rebuilt again with a much smoother shift than before. Once he tried to get it apart, he couldn't get the sun shell out, which was the one that is so good and strong now, so everything behind 'The Beast' sun shell was replaced.

Bad thing was .. I wasn't even driving hard when it gave.

I don't remember what part is was that broke. It took a ALOT of abuse to bust it though.

BTW, everyone this transmission has a sale pending.
