I have a stock 02 silverado I want to start moding but I sill tow with it. If this is okay for my aplication I might be interested. You guys said its a 2600 stall with a 5.3, and it doesnt matter that I am 4wd right. What do you guy think?

Is it going to be 2600 stall speed right. Is that okay for a towing application? I dont do plan on doing a heavy towing, just my 2 quad and a trailor. But I would still like to be able to tow heavier stuff like a boat etc.

I am a bit of a noob when it comes to autos so if I get this converter will I need a tune. I now a tune would be optimal but would it run fine without one for a while?
