Why is there a weld right behind the collector? Are these ARH mid pipes? If yes how were they modified outside of the Y collector and if not can we see pictures of the actual pipes and their fitment?

Yes they are the ARH mid pipes but I had to have "cats" welded in to pass an inspection last year. I phucked up and went to the wrong place and they red flagged me in the system for no cats. One of the fake cats runs under the trans pan in the crossover and the other is in line on the passenger side because they were too damn big to run side by side unfortunately. I though I took pictures of the cat placement but I cant find them. I can take more pictures while Im off for Christmas as I work in the DFW area and the truck is back home in East Texas. The mid pipes were also modified to clear the 80e trans pan but would still fit perfectly fine on a truck with a 60e.
