Default Detroit TrueTrac

SOLD

Detroit TrueTrac for GM 10 BOLT Part# 913A481. I bought it for my Silverado but since mine is a Mexican truck it does not have the same rear end. Apparently it has some sort of Dana unit in it.

I got it for $400 shipped and will let it go for $360 shipped. It is brand new and still in the original box never opened. The shop that was going to install it told me about the rear end being different than the US spec trucks.

wtf is a 400SS?

Edit: looked it up. Some sort of Mexico Production. I didn't think they had a Chevy manufacturing plant in Mexico?

I don't have any pics right now but I can take some tomorrow. I am trying to find out all the info I can so I can buy the correct posi this time.

If you guys run into any info please post it up. The only info I have right now is what the shop gave me which is that it's a Dana and has a part # 47364 on the gears.

you sure its not just a 8.5" 10 bold instead of a 8.625 like the rest of us?

Since it is from mexico, I can see them(chevy) using up the rest of their old 8.5"s from the OBS trucks.

looked it up, says the 10-bolt 8.625 takes Detroit Locker 913A481, so this should work...
