that guy is set up, we dont really need all that stuff he is offering but it would be an insanely easy set up for anyone wanting to drop it into something older. very cool, i need another project vehicle i think.

one word of advice, if you see something really cool don't go telling everyone about it till the auction is over, you end up biding against people that wouldn't have even known about it(like me)

there are also some handy ebay auction tricks, if you are not aware of them send me a pm.

ok, got a few pm's on that last remark, here are my tricks, nothing special, just how you need to do it if you want to win.

nothing too tricky, alot of people wait till the last second to bid, if you bid eairly you will probably get outbid at the last second and not have a chance to raise your bid. these people bid with only a few sec's left.

the key is to do what they do, bid at the last second.

decide exactly how much you are willing to pay for it, don't go low cause if you loose out on it and would have gone higher you will be pissed. so if you would pay $3500 for it bid $3500 for it. make sure you have an acount that you can bid with if this is your first bid, maybe put a bid in on something that is ony a buck or so just to see that it works.

so, bid what you are willing to pay about 15sec before the end of the auction.

the price wont go up to your full bid, it will only go high enuff to be higher than anyone else. if someone all ready bid higher it will shoot to right over your bid. you bid at the last sec so you are out of luck now or you own it.

did that make any sence?

I know, I figured you all would like that. Now if it was 4WD, I wouldn't want any extra competition.

Yep, it's called "Sniping". It's worked against me a few times. Just a few minutes ago actually. It sucks being frugal. Of course the stuff I've lost out on would eventually be for the "project", so I'm not exactly serious...yet.

i try to do that but i tend to get beat be dial up.bidding on things that last minute is seriously the last MINUTE if not the aution will be over before i even get my bid in. i shoud invest in some faster intenet stuff. i have built almost my whole yamaha banshee off e-bay, which was a bad idea because i should have put the cam and nelson tune in my truck. oh well i think i will call and get my credit card limit raised tomorrow. then maybe buy my 2" lowering shackles.
