OP did you use the 80e transfer case as well or the 60e case? If so the shaft should work
I used a NP 246 transfer case out of a LD 2500 with a 32 spline input and output shaft.

Have you measured center to center at the u joints?

Also pm the seller and ask him to do the same. If the shaft is within 1/2" you should be fine.

Point I was trying to get across is 1/2 ton and 3/4LD and HD use a 32 spline output shaft
