5" Aluminum Driveshaft

Is there a power or speed rating for this? I'm trying to go fast in my SS awd with an 80e so length should be spot on. I thought all 1 piece aluminum shafts were prone to shredding over 100mph?

I called Driveshaft Specialists of Texas today. They confirmed what Troy is saying that this shaft would exceed the levels it would see in our trucks. Was told that they use the same diameter aluminum shaft for Dodge Deisels putting out 1000 horsepower & 1400 foot pounds of torque. Unfortunately for me, for it to work in my truck, it would cost me another $300 plus the shipping both ways. I might as well purchase a new one. I would have liked to buy yours, but unfortunately, it's impractical for me, sorry.

FWIW 1/2 ton transfer cases use the larger 32 spline output shaft, the same shaft size as a stock 4l80 output shaft. Also there are not many different slip yokes that GM uses, just different lengths
OP did you use the 80e transfer case as well or the 60e case? If so the shaft should work
