I dont think so. If i remember right its the way its always been. The truck trannys have long tales and the car trannys have short tales. You could bolt everything else up and have your driveshaft lengthened by 3". That would work.

 

ya it would lu could swap tails or do the drive shaft thing like snake eater said.....
